Inn Policies

The Edison Street Inn has labored to provide the unique blend of a private residence with comfortable guest accommodations. The Inn was designed with the utmost intent to establish an environment conducive to couples seeking a romantic getaway amidst the rolling hills, vineyards, and country charm of the beautiful Santa Ynez Valley. Inn policies reflect our desire to meet guest expectations and to provide couples with a memorable experience.

Check in Time - 4:00p.m. - 6:00p.m.

Special arrangements can be made for late arrivals provided 24 hour advance notice is given and expected arrival time is before 9:00 p.m. Our front desk closes at 9:00 p.m. and, as a courtesy to our other guests, no late check-ins will be accomodated after that time. Reservations,including late check-in requests, will be deemed cancelled, after 9:00 p.m. and subject to Inn cancellation policies, as stated herein.

Check-out Time is 11:00 a.m.

Privacy: Our intimate size requires that use of the Inn be limited to registered guests only.

Occupancy: The Inn is a romantic retreat, offering intimate accommodations for adults! For safety and privacy concerns, we discourage children under the age of 17 years.

No pets allowed on premises!

Each room accommodates a maximum of two guests.

Smoking: The Inn is a NON-SMOKING establishment, which includes no smoking on balconies or anywhere else on the entire premises. No cigarettes, cigars, or use of candles is permitted!

Room rates includes a full breakfast, served from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at a popular local breakfast house, one block from the Inn.

A complimentary array of hors d'oeuvres and fine Central Coast wines, is served each evening, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Our rates are for double occupancy and do not include county taxes.

We are a small boutique Inn and have developed a reservation system which we feel is manageable for the Inn's operation. We have a 14 day cancellation policy. A cancellation, change in reservation dates, or a shortened stay during that period will incur a full room charge. If we are able to re-rent the room for the same day, we will gladly refund the room deposit, less administration fee.  A 28 day cancellation policy applies to holiday weekends, multiple room bookings, special event weekends, and reservations booked more than 60 days in advance!!

All reservations must be guaranteed.

A deposit equal to the room rate will be charged to your credit card at time of booking.
All cancellations or changes in reservation dates, will incur a $35.00 administration fee.

The Inn does not have in-rooms phones. We are happy to deliver messages left on the Inn's voice mail during normal business hours, however we cannot guarantee time of delivery and we strongly encourage our guests, expecting important phone calls, to bring their cell phones with them.

If you are celebrating a special occasion, or have a special request, please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate the request, if possible.

For our cycling guests, we offer secure storage of your bicycles. Bicycles are not allowed inside the Inn or on the porches!
