The
Edison Street Inn
has labored to provide the unique blend of a private
residence with comfortable guest accommodations. The Inn
was designed with the utmost intent to establish an environment
conducive to couples seeking a romantic getaway amidst
the rolling hills, vineyards, and country charm of the
beautiful Santa Ynez Valley. Inn procedures and policies
reflect our desire to meet guest expectations and to provide
couples with a memorable experience.
In
order to address Inn safety concerns and provide for guest
privacy
and comfort, we highly discourage children under the
age of 17.
No
pets, please.
Guest
rooms, parlors, garden areas and parking are for the exclusive
use
of registered guests only.
We
have broken with the traditional bed and breakfast inn
concept by utilizing the services of a popular local eating
establishment to serve breakfast to our guests each morning.
Originally, this was to have been a short term association;
however we have received so many wonderful comments from
our guests about the great food and service that we have
decided to continue with this arrangement.
Breakfast
is served from 6:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.
The
Inn continues to serve guests with a complimentary array
of hors d'oeuvres and fine local wines, each evening,
from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Our
rates are for double occupancy and do not include county
taxes.
Each room accommodates a maximum of two guests.
We
are a small boutique Inn and have developed a reservation
system which we feel is manageable for the Inn's operation.
We have a 14 day cancellation policy. A cancellation,
or change in reservation dates, during that period will
incur a full room charge. If we are able to re-rent the
room for the same day, we will gladly refund the room
charge, less a small administration fee. A 30
day cancellation policy applies to holiday weekends
and multiple room
bookings.
All
reservations must be guaranteed.
Confirmation is subject to credit card pre-authorization
of your stay.
All cancellations will incur a $35.00 administration fee.
The Inn is a NON-SMOKING ESTABLISHMENT; no cigarettes,
cigars or pipes, and candles, too, for safety reasons.
CHECK-IN TIME IS FROM 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
The
Inn will attempt to accommodate early or late check-in
requests provided a 24 hour advance notice is
given. Sorry, no accommodation for
check-in after 10:00 p.m., after which time Inn
cancellation policies will apply.
CHECK-OUT TIME IS 11:00 a.m.
The
Inn does not have in-rooms phones. We are happy to deliver
messages left on the Inn's voice mail during normal business
hours, however we cannot guarantee time of delivery and
we strongly encourage our guests, expecting important
phone calls, to bring their cell phones with them.
If
you are celebrating a special occasion, or have a special
request, please let us know and we will be happy to accommodate
the request, if possible.
Innkeepers
are happy to provide you with information about the area,
wineries, restaurants, and other local attractions. Please
let us know if we can assist you with dinner reservations.
